General Introduction
Kinetics Rubber Flooring is regarded as the ultimate in high performance fashion flooring. The secret of the Kinetics flooring concept lies inherently in its unique composition, and in its design flexibilities.
Unique Composition
The entire Kinetics range is made by using high performance elastomers, which by nature are not elastic, i.e. they don't have a melting temperature as do thermoplastics used in vinyl flooring. They exhibit exceptional stability not only thermally but in all round performance.
High abrasion resistance - Longevity
Extremely hard wearing with excellent performance in low to very high traffic areas.
Chemical resistance - Ease of cleaning
Wide range of strong chemicals can be used for cleaning, requiring less physical work.
Dimensional stability - No noticeable shrinkage or expansion.
The formula does not contain plasticisers. Plasticisers are a necessary ingredient for PVC floor coverings and have the potential to leach out under fluctuating temperatures.
In-built UV stability - Weathers well in semi UV exposed areas.

Unique Process
To further enhance product performance the elastomers are permanently cross-linked to a precision-engineered molecular density resulting in some of the most remarkable key benefits.
Soft & Comfortable
The uniquely cross-linked networks of highly elastic polymer chains act as miniature springs underfoot. This disspates impact energy, reducing strain on joints and muscles.
Quiet
The molecular density of the elastomers used make the flooring act as a natural sound dampener absorbing and reducing impact noise and transfer of sound providing a massive noise reduction of up to 20 dB.
Warm & Cool
The Kinetics range have exceptionally good thermal insulation properties providing a natural barrier to unwanted outside temperature making it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Safe/Slip Resistant
Elastomers have remarkably high surface traction making the products suitable to be used as anti-slip safety flooring both in a home and work environment. Kinetics Matrix and Series K products comfortably exceed both dry and wet requirements of the Australian Standard AS/NZA 3661.1-1993. (For compliance safety floors must have a coefficient of friction above 0.4. The Matrix range has an exceptional pass in a dry test of 0.75 and in a wet test 0.62)
Minimal Maintenance
Kinetics Flooring products in terms of maintenance can be divided into two different categories; the factory Pre-sealed Range features a clear maintenance layer which eliminates the need for initial stripping and sealing; thereafter requiring only a light maintenance regime.
Environmentally friendly Chlorine/PVC free.
Chlorine gas is highly toxic and reactive. Chlorine is used in vinyls to form Polyvinylchloride or PVC. (Approx. 57% chlorine and 43% hydrocarbon ratio make PVC the largest single use for chlorine.)
